We
had already put in a long day in the saddle when we crossed the river
back into Oregon. Heading south we paused at Dufur for lunch. Afterwards we
took the old market road to Mt.Hood and skirted the southern flank of the
mountain, taking country roads into East Portland and back to the County Farm
where we had started. It was an enjoyable weekend and a good time was had by
all.
